Red Ribbon Bed Races 2004
Above you see Fred's Beds entry into the 2004 Bed Races. Every year during the Conch Republic days this event is held and this is the first year Fred participated. Your entry must be a least a twin size bed and have a mattress and 1 rider. Usually the "race car" is pushed by four runners.
	To the left you see the race car being loaded on the delivery truck, this is how it made it down to Duval Street!!!!
	Above and below are pictures of the bed race pit crew & runners. Even though you are allowed 4 runners Fred's Beds had 3, Kevin, Biff, and Christy.
Above you see Fred with his rider Ganine Durlith. Fred's Beds took best in bed and 2'nd in the coed time run, even though the race car crossed the finish line with only 2 runners and the race care was made from a queen size bed.
The course of the race began at La Concha and finished at the Hog's Breath saloon. Fred's time was 1min 26 seconds. Above you see Kevin and Theo jr relaxing after the races on the race car.
